An official North Korean calendar for the year 2024 makes no mention of the new Missile Industry Day introduced last year, despite the holiday’s possible links to succession plans for leader Kim Jong Un’s daughter.

The calendar published by Pyongyang’s Foreign Languages Publishing House and obtained by NK News does not explain the omission of the Nov. 18 holiday, which celebrates the successful Hwasong-17 intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) launch where his daughter made her debut.

State media reported on the creation of Missile Industry Day in November, but it made no mention of celebrations for the holiday last year.
