North Korea’s official 2024 calendar charts events that will define year ahead

But DPRK ignores new missile holiday, while lack of big anniversaries leaves it unclear if there will be military parade

An official North Korean calendar for the year 2024 makes no mention of the new Missile Industry Day introduced last year, despite the holiday’s possible links to succession plans for leader Kim Jong Un’s daughter.

The calendar published by Pyongyang’s Foreign Languages Publishing House and obtained by NK News does not explain the omission of the Nov. 18 holiday, which celebrates the successful Hwasong-17 intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) launch where his daughter made her debut.
