North Koreans warned to brace for frigid weather as cold snap grips peninsula

Experts say millions residing outside Pyongyang at particular risk of exposure as temperatures plummet well below zero

With frigid weather sweeping the Korean Peninsula this week, DPRK state media alerted viewers to prepare for subfreezing temperatures across various regions in the country from Monday to Wednesday. 

Experts told NK News that these conditions will be particularly tough for North Korean citizens, whose homes are ill-equipped for harsh weather.
