First tour to North Korea already at capacity, Russian travel firm says

Over 100 people have reportedly signed up for tour organized with Far East region in effort to promote travel to DPRK

The Russian travel company organizing the first tour to North Korea for foreign visitors since the start of the pandemic has stopped taking bookings due to the high volume of applications it has already received.

Natalia Zinina, a DPRK tour manager at the Vladivostok-based Vostok Intur, told NK News that more than 100 Russian nationals have applied for the four-day tour to Pyongyang and a ski resort on North Korea’s east coast.
