North Korea condemned South Korea’s recent joint military exercises with the U.S. on Monday as a “useless act that hastens its ruin,” continuing a campaign to pin the blame on Seoul for the recent breakdown of an inter-Korean military deal.
The ruling party daily Rodong Sinmun said in a commentary that South Korean defense officials are “going crazy like mad dogs, inspiring confrontation and inciting war” with their “bellicose remarks” against the DPRK, even as the ROK continues to hold drills with the U.S.
