Singapore authorities have charged two businessmen for their alleged role in smuggling fuel into North Korea, including one wanted by the FBI with a $5 million bounty.

The Singapore Police Force said in a press release on Thursday that Kwek Kee Seng allegedly conspired to supply gas oil to the DPRK in 2019, while his accomplice Low Eng Yeow Justin helped facilitate the purchase of the fuel.

Kwek “conspired with five other individuals based overseas to supply gas oil to the DPRK from September to November 2019,” the press release states.

The alleged operation involved a tanker named the MT
