Justice for North Korea says 38-year-old woman was arrested last month, accusing Seoul of doing little to help her

A North Korean woman attempting to defect to South Korea was arrested in Vietnam last month and likely faces repatriation to China, according to a Seoul-based activist group, alleging that ROK authorities are not taking sufficient action to save the woman.

Peter Jung, head of Justice for North Korea, told NK News that a 38-year-old North Korean woman attempted to cross from China into Vietnam with two Chinese guides on Nov. 11, but she was arrested by Vietnamese police in the city of Cao Bang.
