North Korean leader Kim Jong Un commemorated the 12th anniversary of his father’s passing on Saturday, paying a visit to Kim Jong Il’s final resting place at the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun in Pyongyang.

Premier Kim Tok Hun and other members of the Politburo Presidium of the Workers' Party of Korea like long-term stalwarts Choe Ryong Hae and Jo Yong Won also paid honors to North Korea’s second leader, according to the Rodong Sinmun.
