Russia has provided technical help to North Korea in exchange for arms: Blinken

Secretary of state says US and South Korea seek to ‘intensify pressure’ on Moscow not to give weapons to DPRK

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken accused Russia of providing technical assistance to North Korea in return for munitions on Thursday, expressing “profound concern” over their alleged arms trade while visiting Seoul for high-level talks.

In a press conference with his South Korean counterpart Park Jin, the top U.S. diplomat said the DPRK not only “provides military equipment to Russia” for its war in Ukraine but also received “technology and support for its own military programs” from Moscow.
