US, ROK and Japan condemn North Korean arms sales to Russia in joint statement

Three countries say weapons deliveries increase ‘human toll’ of Ukraine war, after US released evidence of transactions

The U.S., South Korea and Japan slammed North Korea on Thursday for transferring arms to Russia to aid its ongoing invasion of Ukraine, weeks after Washington released new evidence of alleged military transactions between Pyongyang and Moscow.

The three countries “strongly condemn the provision of military equipment and munitions by the DPRK to the Russian Federation,” according to a joint statement released by the countries’ top diplomats Antony Blinken, Park Jin and Yoko Kamikawa.
