North Korea’s women’s soccer team lost out on a gold medal at the Asian Games on Friday in a 4-1 defeat to Japan in Hangzhou.
It was a tense match through the first half, with the DPRK dominating the ball and mounting several offensive attacks. This led to the match being stalemated at a 1-1 tie for nearly sixty minutes, with the DPRK always seemingly on the cusp of a goal.
