North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s private train appeared to barrel past Vladivostok on Tuesday en route to a possible summit with Vladimir Putin, according to Russian state media, in a sign that their meeting may not take place in the Far East city as widely expected.
Russian state news agency RIA Novosti reported that Kim’s train “crossed the Razdolnaya River in Primorsky Krai heading north” around 12:15 p.m. local time on Tuesday, which would mean the train was traveling away from Vladivostok.
