Kremlin confirms North Korean leader visiting Cosmodrome Vostochny in Russian Far East after train trip from Pyongyang

Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un at the Cosmodrome Vostochny spaceport in Russia’s Far East on Wednesday, according to Russian state media, after reportedly offering to help the DPRK build satellites.

The Kremlin previously announced that the two leaders had met at the cosmodrome in the Amur region after Kim traveled by train from Pyongyang. Russian state media has also reported that Putin gave Kim a tour of parts of the spaceport.
