Air Koryo and Vladivostok airport confirm flights to Pyongyang will take place on Aug. 25 and 28, first since 2020

North Korea’s state-run airline will carry out two flights from Russia’s Far East to Pyongyang this week, Air Koryo and Vladivostok International Airport confirmed to NK News, in what would be the airline’s first known passenger flights between the two countries since the start of the pandemic.

“We have opened flights for Aug. 25 and 28 from Vladivostok to Pyongyang,” an Air Koryo representative in Vladivostok told NK News on Monday, confirming a previous report on the possible flight resumption.
