North Korean state media backs Russia, says Wagner chief will be ‘put down’

Pyongyang and Moscow convene meeting day after Yevgeny Prigozhin reaches apparent deal with Putin to end rebellion

Mercenary commander Yevgeny Prigozhin will be “put down” and Russia will emerge victorious in Ukraine, North Korea said on Sunday, days after the Wagner Group chief staged an armed rebellion against Moscow.
