The U.N. said Wednesday shipped a range of vaccines to North Korea last year, along with nutritional aid to support nearly 1 million pregnant women and children.

UNICEF dispatched vaccines for tuberculosis, rubella, polio and Pentavalent diseases, the organization states in their East Asia and Pacific Region Humanitarian Situation Report for the last quarter of 2022. The report does not mention COVID-19 vaccines. 

The shipments were enough to vaccinate between 540,000 and 690,000 children, according to UNICEF, and were delivered along with nutritional aid used to treat over 10,000 cases of severe acute malnutrition in the DPRK.
