The United Nations Command (UNC) has concluded that both North and South Korea violated the Korean Armistice Agreement when they flew drones into each other’s territory last month, according to a press release Thursday.
The UNC Military Armistice Commission’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) also determined that the ROK military’s attempts to neutralize North Korea’s unmanned aerial systems (UAS) within South Korean territory were in compliance with the armistice.
