South Korea warns travelers not to bring North Korean propaganda into country

New customs form explicitly lists DPRK media as prohibited item, even as Seoul weighs increasing access

Travelers to South Korea must now explicitly declare if they are bringing North Korean propaganda into the country, a new version of the “travelers declaration form” shows, despite Seoul’s recent signaling about increasing access to DPRK media.

The updated paper slip that all international arrivals must submit to a customs officer when entering South Korea has been in use since September, the Korea Customs Agency told NK News on Monday.
