Ex-security chief may face arrest over North Korea’s 2020 killing of ROK citizen

Prosecutors investigating allegations Suh Hoon hampered investigation into death of Lee Dae-jun in DPRK waters

Seoul prosecutors requested an arrest warrant for former National Security Advisor Suh Hoon on Tuesday over his response to North Korea’s killing of a ROK fisheries official, prosecutors confirmed to NK News.

A warrant would enable prosecutors to detain Suh while they examine allegations he forged documents and abused his authority to compromise the initial investigation into the death of Lee Dae-jun in DPRK waters in Sept. 2020.
