Achieving meaningful progress on the North Korea security challenge requires sustained U.S. attention, something that’s unlikely considering the extent of the challenges that Washington has taken on. The U.S. should thus seek to lighten its load where possible.
Let’s start with areas where the U.S. cannot divert its attention: Russia and China. These challenges, left unaddressed, have the potential to reshapethe global order,
