Seoul prosecutors raid spy agency over forced repatriation of North Koreans

Raid into 2019 repatriation and DPRK’s 2020 killing of ROK official target spy agency's role in cases, prosecutors say

Prosecutors raided South Korea’s National Intelligence Service (NIS) on Wednesday as part of investigations into the forced repatriation of two North Koreans and the DPRK’s killing of a ROK civil servant under the Moon administration.

The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' press office told NK News it seeks to uncover the role of the country’s main intelligence agency in the cases, raiding the main NIS office in south-central Seoul.
