Australia and Canada to join US-ROK-Japan missile detection drills: Sources

Participants will publicize biennial Pacific Dragon exercises for the first time since 2016, sources tell NK News

Australia and Canada will join planned ballistic missile defense drills involving the U.S., South Korea and Japan later this year, informed sources told NK News, in what one expert said are exercises that prepare in part for the possibility of North Korean attacks.

The Pacific Dragon drills will take place in waters off Hawaii in the first half of August, following the conclusion of multinational Rim of the Pacific joint exercises that start next week, according to sources.
