North Korea’s missile test on Wednesday has so far gone unmentioned in the country’s state media, a rare omission for Pyongyang which typically publicizes its weapons tests the next day.
The single ballistic missile was fired from the Pyongyang area at around 12:03 p.m. KST, according to South Korean and Japanese military authorities, reaching an altitude of around 485 miles (780 kilometers) and a range of around 292 miles (470 kilometers).
