Linda Thomas-Greenfield met with China’s Special Representative for Korean Peninsula Affairs Liu Xiaoming in New York days after China signaled it would not support efforts by the U.S. to expand UNSC sanctions in response to North Korea’s successful test of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) last week.
