U.S. Special Representative for the DPRK Sung Kim had a call with his Chinese counterpart Liu Xiaoming last week and discussed Pyongyang’s Feb. 27 and March 5 projectile tests, a spokesperson for the U.S. State Department revealed on Sunday.
The development came as Washington announced a bilateral assessment with Seoul that North Korea’s last two projectile tests were part of a “relatively new” intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) system.
