North Korea fired one “ballistic missile” towards the East Sea on Saturday morning, detected at 08:48 KST from the Sunan area near Pyongyang, according to South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS).
The JCS said the missile had a flight range of around 168 miles (270 km) and reached an altitude of 348 miles (560 km).
