Top Biden aide stresses US-China coordination on DPRK after leaders’ summit

Joe Biden and Xi Jinping reportedly ‘exchanged views’ on Korean Peninsula situation in virtual talks

Coordination between the U.S. and China is “very important” to bringing North Korea back to the dialogue table, the top U.S. security adviser said on Tuesday, following a virtual summit between the two countries’ leaders.

During the summit, U.S. President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping “exchanged views” on regional and international issues, including the situation on the Korean Peninsula, according to both governments.
