North Korea has tested an additional 667 people for COVID-19 and reported zero positive cases, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), as DPRK leader Kim Jong Un recently stressed virus prevention measures in a key policy speech.

In its latest situation report released Sunday, the WHO said North Korea tested 94 people with flu-like illness or respiratory infections and 573 health care workers from Sept. 17-23.

The screenings bring the total number tested in the country using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to 40,700 people, with health officials collecting 81,126 samples, according to the WHO.
