North Korea denounces US ‘challenge’ to Beijing’s One China policy

DPRK again says Taiwan is part of China while Beijing's foreign minister visits Seoul

North Korea voiced support for Beijing’s "One China" policy and denounced U.S. actions related to Taiwan on Wednesday, ahead of a bilateral meeting between South Korean President Moon Jae-in and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) accused the U.S. of interfering in China’s internal affairs in a commentary attributed to “international affairs analyst” Kim Myong Chol, stressing that North Korea stands with Beijing’s policy that considers Taiwan as part of its territory.
