Kim Yo Jong dangles possibility of inter-Korean summit, end-of-war declaration

The statement follows Washington’s interests in discussing the end-of-war declaration

An inter-Korean summit and end-of-Korean-war declaration could be possible in the future, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Yo Jong hinted Saturday, though stressing various conditions would still need to be met by Seoul.

Kim’s statement, published late on Saturday night by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), dangled the possibility of inter-Korean engagement following recent remarks by a senior U.S. official on Washington's interest in ending the decades-long Korean War.
