North Korean state media has accused the U.S. of being the “main culprit” raising tensions and sabotaging global peace, citing Chinese and Russian criticisms of U.S. actions in Afghanistan.

“The international society is now growing vocal in its condemnation of the United States over the crisis in Afghanistan,” the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Saturday.

“The reality of increased criticism of the U.S. by many countries across the world substantiates the fact that the U.S. is indeed the main culprit undermining the global peace and stability and the root cause of escalated tension,” it added.
