The report, released on Friday, came a few days after North Korean state media said leader Kim Jong Un held an expanded politburo meeting in response to a “grave” incident related to the country’s pandemic prevention efforts. The DPRK told WHO it has now tested a cumulative 31,794 people for COVID-19, with all the polymerase chain reaction tests coming back negative. North Korea has once again reported zero cases of COVID-19 after testing an additional 711 people, according to the most recent World Health Organization (WHO) report.

The report, released on Friday, came a few days after North Korean state media said leader Kim Jong Un held an expanded politburo meeting in response to a “grave” incident related to the country’s pandemic prevention efforts.
