North Korea stuck waiting for millions of COVID-19 vaccines

A ‘global supply shortage’ and severe COVID outbreak in India have delayed vaccine shipments to the DPRK

Close to two million COVID-19 vaccines destined for North Korea have been delayed indefinitely, says an international organization leading vaccination efforts.

Geneva-based Gavi told NK News that North Korea's lack of "technical preparedness" and a “global supply shortage” have pushed back a shipment of 1.7 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine to North Korea.
