China reports fuel export data to North Korea for first time in 5 months

Beijing may want to signal its willingness to play ball with sanctions regime, says expert

China reported its fuel exports to North Korea for the first time in months, according to the United Nations (U.N.).

According to the most recent data, China sent some 587 tons (4,893 barrels) of refined petroleum products to North Korea in March this year. Refined petroleum products include fuels like gasoline and diesel.
