Almost a week after a meeting between top national security officers from the United States, South Korea and Japan, Washington said it’s willing to engage in diplomacy with North Korea for the sake of denuclearization.
On Wednesday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said Washington has a “clear objective” to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula and said that the U.S. is “continuing to enforce sanctions” and “consulting with allies and partners.”
