The U.S. has issued a warning against a prominent North Korean hacking group just days before the U.S. presidential election, according to a public advisory published on the evening of Oct. 27.

The advisory, jointly released by several high-profile U.S. government agencies, highlights common tactics used by Kimsuky, a North Korean group that has been accused of the 2014 Sony Pictures hack. The hack was in response to “The Interview,” a fictional Hollywood film satirizing North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
