Deported North Korean ship returns to Russia and gets stranded on the beach

North Korean poaching ships are known for illegally plucking Russian waters of its squid and fish, often for the sake of survival. Sometimes, that even means venturing out despite dangerous storms.

Now, a North Korean poaching ship stranded at a Nakhodka beach has been identified as the same ship detained and deported last year for illegal fishing, Russia’s Interfax news agency reported on Sep. 4.
