United Arab Emirates has deported all North Korean workers, government says

Move in line with country's obligations under UNSC Resolution 2397

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) late last year repatriated all North Koreans earning currency in its territory, a sanctions implementation report by the country's permanent mission to the United Nations made public this week said.

The move brings the UAE in line with its commitments under UNSC Resolution 2397, which required all UN member states to repatriate North Koreans earning currency in their territory by December 22.
