The South Korean Supreme Court plans to research North Korea’s foreign investment laws and their drawbacks in order to, in part, prepare to support the country’s potential legislative improvement, according to a document reviewed by NK News.

The Supreme Court of Korea last week announced its project of researching the “current status and tasks of the North Korean legislative system on foreign investment.”

The project will be outsourced to the private sector and finished within six months, the Supreme Court said last Thursday in the “emergency” notice and proposal targeting potential bidders.
