North Korea’s rubber-stamp parliament to meet on August 29, state media says

14th Supreme People's Assembly last met in March

North Korea's rubber-stamp Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) will convene for a meeting on August 29, the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Friday.

The meeting will see the 14th SPA convene for its second session, following elections to the North's top legislative body on March 10 in which leader Kim Jong Un was, defying convention, not elected to a seat.
