North Korea will never trade its “strategic security” for sanctions relief: KCNA

Choson Sinbo also says the U.S. must prepare to discuss security issues to resume nuclear talks

North Korea will never exchange the "strategic security of the country" for what is characterized as undesired sanctions relief, a commentator on DPRK-U.S. relations said in a state media publication over the weekend.

The state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) on Saturday released the article “Sanctions Will Never Work on DPRK” attributed to Jong Hyon, which said the U.S. is “carried away by anachronistic delusion and still fiddles with the old key of sanctions and pressure.”
