Defectors to educate South Korean soldiers on North Korean military, life

Escapees also tasked with teaching troops about "positive effects" of unification

The South Korean Ministry of National Defense (MND) plans to arrange for North Korean defectors to educate members of the military on life in the DPRK and the benefits of unification, documents seen by NK News on Friday showed.

In plans that will cost approximately KRW940 million (USD$830,000), defectors will deliver lectures to South Korean military personnel with the goal of enhancing their understanding of North Korea and of the Korean People’s Army (KPA).
