UN Special Rapporteur on North Korean human rights to visit Seoul next week

Tomás Ojea Quintana set to meet with government officials, recent escapees during five-day trip

The United Nations' top envoy focusing on human rights in North Korea will spend five days in the South Korean capital next week, the UN announced in a statement on Thursday.

Tomás Ojea Quintana plans to hold meetings with senior South Korean government officials and diplomats, the statement added, "as well as representatives of the civil society and other stakeholders."
