South Korea to provide flu treatment supplies to the North: MOU

Delivery will be first of its kind in almost ten years

The South Korean government will provide medical supplies for the treatment of influenza worth around USD$3.2 million to North Korea, Seoul's Ministry of Unification (MOU) announced on Tuesday.

A bill approving the decision was passed at the 301st session of the Inter-Korean Exchange and Cooperation Promotion Council, finalizing a decision made by South Korean government officials and health professionals in December and January.
