U.S. and UK hold workshop on North Korea maritime sanctions

Meeting focused on what private sector could do clamp down on the DPRK's illicit trade

The U.S. and UK governments on Friday held a meeting in London with maritime insurance companies, commodity traders and experts to discuss North Korea's sanctions evasion practices at sea, according to a State Department press release.

The workshop centered on steps the private sector can take to combat the DPRK's deceptive maritime practices and North Korean sanctions evasion.
