South Korea's Ministry of Unification (MOU) on Monday gave formal approval for a planned visit to the South by a high-level North Korean government delegation this week.
In a statement, the MOU said that the visit by Ri Jong Hyok, director of the National Reunification Institute and a deputy of the Supreme People’s Assembly (SPA), and Kim Song Hye, head of the department of united front strategy at the United Front Department (UFD) of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), will go ahead from November 14-17.
