The South Korean association for Asia-Pacific peace and exchange reportedly requested on Tuesday night that the Ministry of Unification (MOU) allow a visit by seven officials from the DPRK’s Korea Asia-Pacific Peace Committee (KAPPC). If approved, the North Koreans will participate in an international conference on Asia-Pacific peace and prosperity hosted by the South Korean organization and Gyeonggi Province, to be held between November 14 and 17. A seven-member high-level North Korean delegation set to include high-level officials Kim Song Hye and Ri Jong Hyok will visit South Korea next week to participate in an international conference, pending approval from the unification ministry.

The South Korean association for Asia-Pacific peace and exchange reportedly requested on Tuesday night that the Ministry of Unification (MOU) allow a visit by seven officials from the DPRK’s Korea Asia-Pacific Peace Committee (KAPPC).

If approved, the North Koreans will participate in an international conference on Asia-Pacific peace and prosperity hosted by the South Korean organization and Gyeonggi Province, to be held between November 14 and 17.
