Kim wants early denuclearization, to focus on economic development: Moon

In briefing following return from North, ROK President says DPRK wants summit with Trump "soon"

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un this week expressed his desire to achieve denuclearization “at the earliest possible time” and to focus on national economic development, South Korean President Moon Jae-in told press on Thursday.

In a press conference in Seoul following his return from the fifth inter-Korean summit held between Tuesday and Thursday in Pyongyang, Moon said he had “a lot” of discussions on denuclearization and DPRK-U.S. dialogue in his talks with Kim.
