Sudan claims it has taken action to enforce North Korea sanctions

Government alleges it has cancelled military contracts and expelled related personnel

The Sudanese Government in its latest National Implementation Report (NIR) said it has taken action to enforce UN Security Council (UNSC) sanctions against North Korea and is carrying out its prior promises to cut ties with the DPRK.

The latest report, which is dated August 14, is only the country's second and covers nine UNSC resolutions that it previously failed to detail implementation measures for.
