South Korean worked with North Korea on facial recognition tech, investigators say

Accused's organization claims to have worked with major U.S. and ROK telecommunications companies

A South Korean national is being held in custody under investigation for technological cooperation with North Korea, the Seoul Metro Police Agency (SMPA) confirmed to NK News on Tuesday.

The man — surname Kim — runs a company specializing in face recognition technology.
