Sanctions responsible for “slow progress” in U.S.-DPRK talks, state media warns

Rodong Sinmun warns Washington against "dirty" and "disrespectful" behavior

North Korea’s state-run media on Monday accused the Trump administration of reverting to a “sanctions and pressures strategy,” warning that the policy could impede President Trump's goal of improving relations between Washington and Pyongyang.

The Rodong Sinmun, an organ of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), denounced the U.S. State and Treasury departments for not lifting sanctions on the DPRK.
